In a bid to combat crippling electricity costs on businesses, the club will have its 200 kilowatt solar upgrade (stage 2) up and running later this month.

Irish Club manager Bernard Gillic said energy costs had risen by more than 10 per cent every year for the past five years and a 15 per cent rise was expected in less than two months.
